Wedding photography of the day #147

Abha and Chris had a bit of the wet stuff at their wedding and by the time we came to do the group shots they had to be done indoors. But nevermind, we always carry portable flash units with us that will light a large group of people without the light looking to harsh. This shot taken shortly after the main photo of all the guests always looks great in the album alongside the main shot.

Love this candid shot taken at a wedding last year at Ye Olde Bell, Hurley shortly before the bride arrived. Looks like dad wanted to take a shot of his family with his mum but I bet he didn't expect his mum's quick and quirky reaction when she held her hat aloft her grandsons head! The question is when did he realise?

What happens when you get everyone ready for a group shot and a freak thunder storm decides to join in? We all get wet don't we....apart from the clever bride groom who saw the rain comming and hid inside ha ha... Well we had to take a quick picture before everyone piled back inside to safety didn't we!

This group shot was taken on the steps of Hedsor House, it's not your typical sort group shot of everyone stood in a line because this bridal party really wanted to do something a bit different more like a 'band shoot' so that's what we tried for. We love the mock gentry expressions from all involved it gives the picture an air of Edwardian glamour.
