Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park tomorrow!

We are looking forward to the wedding of Kar Wen and James at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park tomorrow.

Pembroke Lodge is a stunning Georgian mansion located on high ground with spectacular views over the Thames Valley, and Surrey. The lodge has not alway been so grand and started life sometime before 1754 as a humble cottage of just one room occupied by a molecatcher whose duty was to reduce the risk presented to huntsmen by moles.

Since then it was enlarged for the Countess of Pembroke who was a close friend of King George III. In 1847 Queen Victoria granted permission for Lord John Russell, then Prime Minister who conducted much business there and entertained various aristocrapts and writers including Dickens, Tennyson and Thackeray.

So to say we are excited about our wedding tomorrow is an understatement. We will also be luck enough to photograph a Chinese Tea ceremony later in the day. Waddesdon Pre Wedding Shoot

As you know from our previous post we're off to The Dairy, Waddesdon this weekend for a wedding, our couple wanted their pre wedding shoot at the venue so we went over to The Dairy yesterday and took some shots, here is the fruits of our labour we hope you like if not we don't care we're very pleased with them so there! We fell in love with the venue and can't wait till Saturday for the wedding especially as we are hoping to get some time with the bride and groom at Waddesdon Manor when the gates close to the public it's gonna be special!

Nice seasonal image for our forth picture of the day, this was taken at Clandon Park near Guildford a stunning National Trust property with it's own church on site which is where this couple got married and then held their reception in the main house in the background of this picture. This picture is very typical of the look we love our photography to have, the lovely bright backlighting and good expressions give a very natural looking feel to the image.
