On the 7th November we photographed the wonderful wedding of Will and Clare at Lillibrooke Manor, Maidenhead. Its was a glorious Autumn day with fantastic light and georgous colours to photograph.
Will and Clare live in Australia having moved out there a couple of years ago and booked us via the internet after seeing our work on our website. Will, a talented photographer himself was keen to secure a photographer(s) whose work he really admired. After a few emails Will and Clare booked us and told us they would not be in the UK until a couple of weeks before the wedding.We booked a meeting to see them once they arrived in the UK where we discussed the wedding plans and did a pre wedding shoot by the river in Henley.At the meeting they mentioned they would like their album to be ready by 12th December as Clares Mum was traveling from the UK to Australia to spend Christmas with them. The album they had chosen is by Jorgensen of Australia and can take up to 10 weeks to produce from us designing the album, digitally enhancing all of the images and sending the files to the lab and the order to the album manufacture. We asked our lab in the UK who print the images and assemble the albums when they receive the album from Jorgensen if they can push the order to the top of the system in order for it to be ready for Clare's Mum. This was a tall order given that most couples would like their wedding album for Christmas to show family and friends so labs have a huge influx of orders in the run up to Christmas.Well after a polite note to Jorgensen and to our lab in the UK Will and Clare's stunning wedding album arrived with us on the 9th December in time for Clare's mum to take with her. The happy couple received their album safely once Mum touched down and here is their email to us which proves testament to not only our hard work but to Jorgensen and South West Colour Labs. So thank you to all who were involved in making this possible!
