As always, we had a wonderful time there and the staff made Chris and Abha's day most enjoyable. Showers were forecast on the run up to the wedding and the weather outlook was not great. Unfortunatley the forecasters got it right; we had to dodge the showers throughout the afternoon.
Abha got ready with her Mum and bridemaids at the Dovecote in the grounds of the Tythe Barn so her journey to meet her groom was a short stroll through the grounds. Chris was getting ready with the boys in the nearby hotel The Dashwood in Kirtlington, a popular venue for the chaps to stay the night before the big day.
Abha got ready in record time leaving plenty of time to get some photographs of her with her parents, aunt and bridesmaids before having some pictures taken on her own. Her dress, by top designer Ian Stewart, was beautiful; the fabric and the textures were gorgeous and Mark got some top shots of Abha in her dress.
Meanwhile, Tris was in the Tythe Barn awaiting the arrival of the bridal party and photographing a nervous Chris and their guests arriving. The Tythe Barn is a fabulous venue and a lovely backdrop to a wedding; after the ceremony we did a handful of group shots indoors due to the rain and then took Abha and Chris outside under umbrellas where we captured some great pictures of the two of them together.
The guests were then seated for the wedding breakfast after which the speeches were anounced. Chris's best men showed a multi-media production they had made of photographs of Chris's past, interviews with his parents and friends and providing great entertainment for the guests.
Finally, (for us anyway) Abha & Chris had their first dance and we captured some beautiful images to finish their album.
As usual this was another fabulous wedding at The Tythe Barn!
