This portrait of a bride (Sophie) was taken at a very great wedding last year where Sophie had a few changes to her outfit throughout the wedding day. When this veil appeared we just had to do something with it, we wanted to create a powerful striking portrait without whistles and bells so Mark simply shot with a shallow depth of field and postioned Sophie so that the slight breeze would give movement to Sophie's hair, her eye contact just finishes off the stylised look.
Great! such an original look. Fab to see a bride in something other than the traditional veil.
